Our client is recruiting bilingual Online Poker School Community Managers to work in their Gibraltar base in this multi-national office, you will be working in a vibrant environment for a company motivated to develop and enhance their service.

There are currently several vacancies for Community Relationship Managers native or fluent in the following languages: English, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog/Filipino, Thai and Vietnamese. However, as the operational language of the company is English, all applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English as well.

Role requirements:

As a member of a dynamic team, your goal will be to develop and optimize the Community and Poker School with the focus on the development of training content in your sector language. You will play a vital role in building a strong relationship between the company and the Online Community and be a direct support on the forums. The successful candidate in each language sector will be responsible for the assembly and supervision of a moderator team, and a team of Poker coaches. You will be responsible for training videos, live coaching and building and managing a team of qualified freelance personnel and Poker experts. Responsibilities will also include translating new content and features for the company’s website and the assembly and supervision of a team of translators. It will be your duty to inform the Community about new content, features and promotions through news, forum and newsletter and oversee your team in their production of Poker videos.

Your duties:

• Conceptual design, implementation and coordination of the online community in the target language
• Establishing, coordinating, and leading a community team including moderators, coaches, translators, and editors in the target language
• Responsibility for the content and the functioning of the online community
• Close coordination with the entire community-management department and other divisions in large multi-divisional projects
• Responsibility for the development, control, implementation, and longevity of specific community projects

Your skill profile:

• Completed degree in the commercial and/or editorial area
• Extensive experience in at least one of the following fields:
• – poker- forums, chats and online communities- editorial work
• Excellent knowledge of the target language, especially in writing
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages would be beneficial
• Sound experience with Photoshop, Dreamweaver or similar programs is preferable
• Ideally experience in the leadership and motivation of teams

• Analytical, pragmatical and goal oriented way of approaching work
• Ability to work in a team and high degree of responsibility
• Ability to handle large workloads and work under pressure
• Interested in the challenges of the online world

Desirable:

Professional experience within the fields of journalism, localization or product management will be an advantage.
