Competitor Intelligence Analyst – Ireland
Job Role:
The Competitor Intelligence Analyst’s focus will be to support the Player Marketing & Business Intelligence Departments by taking ownership of the collation and dissemination of competitor intelligence. This role requires tremendous attention to detail, setting up and managing projects and timely presentation of results. The successful candidate will have their finger on the pulse of all that happens in our industry from corporate matters to key issues discussed by players on the forums. It is imperative the Analyst is able to work within a dynamic, fast paced and leading-edge technological environment where consistent delivery of results is paramount to business success.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Daily monitoring of competitor activity via competitor sites, forums, etc.
• Daily activity on forums etc. to obtain answers to key questions
• Production of a weekly competitor intelligence report
• Delivery of ad-hoc timely alerts to key colleagues re. competitor announcements/activities
• Regular play on key competitor sites to live & report on the player experience
• Engage with executives, team members, stakeholders and related personnel in the delivery of competitor intelligence in line with key business goals and objectives.
Skills/Experience Required:
• In-depth understanding of the online poker industry
• Detailed knowledge and love of the game of Poker
• Strong general internet experience incl. regular use of forums etc.
• Graduate in a related field
• 3+ years commercial experience
• Desk research experience
• Highly numerate
• Project management skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Ability to create and manage procedures and processes
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work with other highly talented individuals
• Fluency in the English language
