Poker Program Manager – Dublin

The Company:
Our client is an e-commerce company based in Dublin, a front runner in their field. They are looking to add an experienced Program Manager to their technically gifted Team.
The Role:
This role requires an experienced Project Management Professional experienced in leading large projects with groups of highly technical people. You should be very business minded with a solid understanding of software development and be able to communicate effectively with the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in very large organisations and also for smaller or start up companies. The ability to work independently and in pressurised situations and very willing to consult others and raise any issues. The successful applicant will have the ability to work with large complex systems and thrive in a fast paced complex environment. Strong communication, organizational and planning skills are a requirement for this role.
Candidate Profile:
-Full project life-cycle responsibility from feasibility, to design and specification, through development, launch, and maintenance of a product or feature.
-Work closely with executives and stakeholders to understand priorities and business requirements to ensure that what is built satisfies those needs
- Write detailed functional requirements documentation to convey design elements and interactions to developers
-Participate in design and specification throughout development and test process and consult closely with software development and QA staff to convey requirements, understand and work within technical constraints, and optimize the effectiveness of implementations
- Create, maintain and monitor schedules, and the timely delivery of projects
- Identify potential issues in advance and put plans in place to mitigate such risks
- Be the voice of reason and be able to articulate issues and handle tradeoffs accordingly
