Poker Promotions Executive – Malta

Our client a well established gaming company with offices in Malta is looking to recruit people with poker experience.

Position Purpose:

Support the poker promotions manager through the implementation and maintenance of all global online poker promotions, with a particular focus on player retention and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Providing input in all stages of the promotions planning process, from concepts to full implementation;
• Submit creative brief and ensure timely delivery of the creative assets used on the poker website, client banner and pop-up;
• Write copy for online poker promotional campaigns to be used on poker website and banners, as well as other marketing channels as appropriate;
• Help building the web based promotional material – uploading content, creating basic HTML frames; and maintain promotional elements on poker website with support from poker website team to meet this key objective;
• Support and input into implementation of new poker loyalty scheme;
• Work in collaboration with website team to launch localized poker promotions onsite;
• Manage poker client and pop-up banners;
• Be familiar with all promotional elements in order to respond to customer service team queries timely on a daily basis;
• Proactively look for ways to improve the online poker promotion set-up process;
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customer support, creative, payments and poker website teams to ensure successful delivery of poker promotions.

Key Working Relationships:

• The poker promotions exec reports to the Poker promotions Manager and will work closely with the rest of the poker marketing team, in particular the poker website team;
• He/she will also work very closely with all operational teams, including customer services, payments, international display, sharing responsibility in ensuring full delivery;
• He/ she will liaise daily with the central UK and international marketing teams, in particular CRM;
• Finally, he/she will have regular contacts with the insight team for all reporting requirements

Person Specification You will suit the role if you are:

• A person who has at least a year’s experience in online gaming, preferably poker, with a passion for online marketing. Blogging, twittering and social networks are second nature to you;
• Ideally, you will have worked on a loyalty scheme, either operationally or helping to set one up;
• You have a creative mind with an understanding of online creative elements;
• You know basic html, and have worked with online content management systems; ideally, you maintain your own web pages;
• You have the ability to write innovative online copy that appeal to the online poker player;
• You are good at time and project management and have great attention to detail;
• And finally, you have a proactive nature and the desire to succeed in a fast paced business environment.

Specialties:

• A minimum of one year’s online gaming and marketing experience.
• Higher education preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications, as well as some HTML editing software.
• Understand basic html and online banner creation.
