Poker Operations Manager – London
Our client, are a London based online gaming company which has experienced very fast growth over recent years. Their site is available in 7 languages and they have a large pan-European customer base. Thanks to that success they are now one of the top sports bookmakers, Casino and Poker operators in Europe and would like to further enforce their team by recruiting a Poker Operations Manager. Within this position you will work closely with all internal departments and external providers to coordinate efforts for all poker operations, and be tasked with formalising processes to ensure all campaigns and projects run smoothly and follow best practices. This will be a managerial position and you will be involved in recruiting, training, and managing the Poker Operations Team.
Main tasks:
- Ownership of the day-to-day running of the poker room
- Developing initiatives to acquire, convert, retain and reactivate players
- Implementation of concepts into practical and effective marketing operations, making best use of the promotional tools available
- Scheduling and coordinating poker marketing operations with all relevant departments
- Clear and efficient communication of marketing operations and product developments to Customer Service, Content and Risk teams
- Assisting acquisition team to create effective tailored promotions for specific marketing channels and affiliates
- Escalating any product issues to the respective department or supplier for resolution, and following through to delivery
- Creating training and process for resolution of player queries and disputes
- Reporting on promotion effectiveness in terms of costs and ROI
You will also assist with:
- Creation of value-added content, including the poker school and teaching tutorials
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of all player communication
- Identification, recruitment, and management of VIP players
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent understanding of online poker and the industry
- Online poker experience, preferably in an operational role
- Experience in planning and implementing marketing operations for the recruitment, conversion, and retention of players
- Experience of working with one of the major poker networks desirable
Languages:
Written and spoken English is essential, French would be an advantage.
