Our client, a leading online bookmakers specialising in Poker, Casino, Sportsbook and Bingo, is looking for an Event Manager to join their team, based in Gibraltar. Reporting into the Director of VIP, you will be required to source, manage and host customer facing events including poker tournaments and sporting events. There will be a large amount of travelling involved and some events will be at weekends.

Responsibilities of the role:
• Maintain the event and hospitality budget.
• Manage all event or hospitality requirements of the VIP and CRM team, to ensure that the brand integrity is maintained within the agreed budget.
• Work with the VIP team to ensure you are sourcing the right events for players and establish procedures for hosts to ensure that we maximise the meeting of all customers.
• Sourcing all relevant merchandise in line with brand guidelines
• Sourcing of gifts incentives and merchandise for VIP players and manage the inventory of online loyalty store
• Organising logistics and hosting of VIP events

Candidate Requirements:
• Excellent command of English Language
• BA Marketing or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in event management for B to C clients
• A good understanding of Casino, Poker and sportsbook customers
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience in hosting customers or clients
• Good Excel skills
• Commercially aware – ability to prove ROI on events
• Demonstrable customer-centric thinking
• Self motivated and enthusiastic approach to work
