French Senior PR & Events Coordinator – France
Description
Our client one the most recognizable poker rooms throughout the world with a leading position in Europe are looking to recruit a Senior Public Relations and Events Coordinator for France. They were Europe’s first multilingual online poker destination, offer fully-translated software in 15 languages.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced public relations or marketing professional to assist in planning and executing public relations campaigns and live events for the French market.
Responsibilities include:
• Represent them in the poker community and France at large. Serve as their Poker spokesperson for press interviews and other speaking engagements,
• Execute public relations campaigns or support PR agency campaigns to develop the Poker brand,
• Work with the Poker marketing team to develop live events in France that enable consumers to experience poker or better understand the brand. For each event, manage logistics, lead generation activities, collateral/ads, and onsite presence,
• Manage the French PR agency to attract press and achieve media coverage. Develop relationships with poker press and national/regional press in France to further support awareness of their Poker product,
• Develop relationships with poker industry experts, clubs and federations for co-marketing opportunities, development of events, recruitment of new players and the to further promote the Poker brand within the industry,
• Identify opportunities throughout France for their brand to attract new players or gain awareness. Develop strategies to leverage these opportunities,
• Work collaboratively and coach Junior Event Coordinator with the organization of live events and leverage knowledge of poker community to help him get up to speed faster,
• Develop French strategy with country manager and participate and influence the media strategy. There is the possibility for this position to involve in a country manager role depending on results.
Requirements Include:
• Bac+2/3 and 2-5 years of public relations, events, or marketing experience in France
• Must be a native French speaker and fluent in English
• Must be an active member of the French poker community
• Strong network of media or event contacts preferred
• Excellent written and verbal skills/media relations skills
• Superb organizational and time management skills
• Ability to travel throughout France, Europe and North America
