Portuguese PR & Events Coordinator – Portugal
Description
Our client one the most recognizable poker rooms throughout the world with a leading position in Europe are looking to recruit a Public Relations and Events Coordinator for Portugal. They were Europe’s first multilingual online poker destination, offer fully-translated software in 15 languages.
Responsibilities:
* Be the representative in the poker community and Portugal at large
* Serve as their Poker spokesperson for press interviews and other speaking engagements
* Execute public relations campaigns to develop the Poker brand
* Develop and execute live events in Portugal that reflect the overall brand vision and Portuguese brand positioning
* For each event, manage logistics, lead generation activities, collateral/ads and onsite presence
* Manage the day-to-day relationship with the Portuguese Team
* Manage all press relations in Portugal
* Develop relationships with poker industry experts, clubs and federations for co-marketing opportunities, development of events, recruitment of new players and to further promote the Poker Brand within the industry
* Identify opportunities throughout Portugal to attract new players or gain awareness.
* Develop strategies to leverage these opportunities
Required Skills & Experience:
* Portuguese native & fluency
* English language fluency, both written and oral
* Events organization skills required
* PR skills required
* Microsoft office suite skills required
* Events organization experience required
* Poker events organization experience a strong advantage
* Experience in PR – conducting interviews, managing PR agencies – required
* Experience in online gaming market a very strong asset
* The ability and willingness to travel on a frequent basis
