Your area of responsibility
• Consult Product Managers during the requirements analysis to:,
o Map Business ideas to multiple technical systems
o Act as sparring partner for business to investigate feasibility and challenge high level business ideas
o Participate in product roadmap planning within Business domain
o Translate company-wide target architecture into product specific target architecture
• Align the efforts of development, database and operations teams to meet Product Management requirements with a dedicated focus on Enterprise & System Architecture
• Optimize system architecture for scalability and maintainability in close cooperation with operations teams to fulfill their SLAs
• Define the Architecture Roadmap and communicate it to all IT staff
• Formulate and promote guidelines and best practices (Design patterns)
• Prototype and evaluate new technologies regarding their ROI
Your Profile

Professional
• At least 5 years of experience in software development and eCommerce system/software architecture
• Experience with large scale systems
• Work development teams with multiple roles
• Experience in strategic planning
• Solid technical background in J2EE, .NET and databases (MSSQL, Oracle)
• UML Modelling
• Ability to quickly get a detailed understanding of a product domain
• Experience in Service-Oriented and Event-Driven Architectures would make you the ideal candidate
