Territory Director – Western European Regions – Gibraltar
Our client is a leading online gaming group which offer a variety of games through an integrated branded platform and through a number of secondary brands. Products include poker, casino, bingo, backgammon, sports betting, and financial spread betting.
We are looking for a profit responsible Territory Marketing Director to drive earnings in specific territory operations. As the profit and loss owner for this territory and its ambassador throughout the business, you will ensure that there is a return on investment on your budgeted expenditure and will deploy the resources of the Marketing Services and Channel Director including affiliate, SEO, Advertiser funded programming, and the Player Marketing team who are responsible for conversion, retention and reactivation as well as VIP player care.
Your marketing expertise, shrewd use of marketing expenditure, deployment of internal resources and above all a clear assessment of the relative potential of the country markets in your region, will help enhance the client’s reputation as a leading, global internet gambling company.
Main responsibilities will involve:
* Formulating strategic plans for the development of acquisition and retention marketing activities across Western Europe & Scandinavia territories
* P&L responsibility for the territory
* Providing effective research audit of market potential, key barriers to entry, consumer insights, competitive reporting and other key marketing requirements
* Building and maintaining industry contacts and ensuring effective local market developments and customer view is fed back into the business
* Leading commercial relationships with 3rd parties at the local level, in particular large media groups and affiliates, to create promotional and marketing opportunities
* Work closely with the Marketing Services and Channel Director to maximize marketing opportunities and select most relevant approaches
* Be the Territory advocate across the business, liaising with other departments to ensure effective localisation and product development (e.g. translation of website and promotions, localised content, territory conversion issues, payment processing options, legal marketing risk policy, creative requirement, PR etc
* Undertaking rigorous pre and post initiative analysis to provide campaign ROI, cost per acquisition and learning’s for future activity
Skills & Qualifications will ideally include:
* Able to motivate and influence senior colleagues to deploy resources in your territory based on sound business judgment
* Bachelors degree in Marketing (or equivalent)
* Languages – dependent on your geographical territory of expertise
* Good all-round marketing skills and an understanding or experience of Western Europe & Scandinavia media markets
* Strong at developing and managing business contacts
* Strong negotiation skills and an eye for detail in the structure of all deals
* Relevant experience in the gaming industry would be highly advantageous
