Accounts Director – Isle of Man

This role is reporting to the Finance Director and will lead and manage the accounts department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly management account process and sign off
• Own the year end close process
• Manage the external Audit process
• Present the financials at the board level
• Own the company Accounting policies
• In-depth knowledge of company cash flows and daily reconciliations to processors
• In-depth knowledge in reconciling Player Liability
• Lead and motivate a team of 14+ staff at manager and accountant level
• Foster development & training across the team
• Give support and provide thought leadership on Business development activity
• Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to ensure that the necessary systems and processes are in place to derive the data and reports necessary to evaluate results.

Essential Skills and Capabilities

• Qualified accountant or have a bachelors or advanced degree in business/finance/accounting
• Minimum of 3+ years work experience in the gaming industry
• Proven experience of managing a minimum of ten staff
• Demonstrate excellent management, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
• Be driven, energetic and proactive with a desire to add value in all areas of responsibility
• Have proven customer and commercial awareness and the ability to develop innovative solutions to a range of problems

Desirable

• Excellent modelling, analytical and numerical capabilities
• Good level of MS Excel skills required
• Good understanding of accounting systems
• First class interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with peers and senior management
