French-English Global Events Assistant – London

Our client one the most recognizable poker rooms throughout the world with a leading position in Europe are looking to recruit a highly organized professional to support its new French sponsored poker player who will participate to more than 30 international tournaments over the next year.

Responsibilities:

• Manage international travel itineraries
• Act as gatekeeper and liaison with French marketing team
• Maintain tournament and press calendar
• Field heavy phone call and e-mail volume
• Prioritize media requests
• Monitor travel related expenses
• French to English written and verbal translation competency needed
• General administrative functions
• Handle special request and related duties as needed

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in French and English
• Strong computer skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet and e-mail
• Superior judgment with confidential materials
• Must know how to prioritize executive tasks
• Ability to multi-task and switch gears quickly
• Must be really experienced and deadline oriented
• A third language is a plus
• Interest and knowledge of the game of poker is a plus.
Required Experience:
• Minimum of 2-5 years experience as a personal assistant
Job Location:
• London, UK
• Travel 20% of the time will be required
