Senior Online Marketing Manager SEO – Isle of Man
The role of the Senior Online Marketing Manager SEO, reporting to the Director of Online Marketing, is to (re)develop, implement and maintain the SEO strategy, coordinate and support with other departments and develop and document SEO expertise.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify the key initiatives of the SEO strategy on a global basis
• Acting on all levels (pages, content, linking, technology,…) to increase traffic and sales from SEO
• Define the objectives, plan & model the impact of these initiatives
• SEO competitor analysis
• SEO related reporting incl. Keyword rankings
• Communicate to senior management and peers on the initiatives & results
Skills and Capabilities
• Excellent SEO technical skills & expertise
• A detailed understanding of Google webmaster guidelines, of keyword research and targeting, of content management systems and knowledge of content principles
• Understanding of cookies, redirects, server configuration, url configuration, coding of html and javascript and analytics tagging approaches
• Experience of managing SEO for an online company in a competitive market on a global basis
• Knowing more than Google (e.g. Yandex)
