Senior Online Marketing Manager – Social Media (Online Poker) – Isle of Man
This role will be reporting to the Director of Online Marketing. Responsibility includes the overall web 2.0 marketing roadmap, both physical and functional, assimilating the online marketing team requirements and initiatives to then negotiate with the different web 2.0 providers to build and maintain the web 2.0 estates.
Key Responsibilities
* Set a vision and plan for the development of the web 2.0 sites with future technical and content releases.
* Definition and communication of strategy, targets, performance parameters, costs and revenues across the portfolio against agreed budgets
* Product development – own, co-create with internal service providers (e.g. customer service) and communicate the web 2.0 roadmap and achievement of key milestones to ensure continuous improvement of service, increased awareness, traffic, sales and conversion
* Report progress & issues to stakeholders and senior management
* Define & agree marketing mix with stakeholders in the marketing function; manage of all online advertising and promo campaigns on the web 2.0 estates
* Day-to-day management of site content, copy, promotions, images and relevant links
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal peer groups, stakeholders, external partners and suppliers
Skills and Capabilities
* Influencing (including cross-department coordination) and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
* Leadership
* Commercially driven with excellent interpersonal and partner facing/management skills
* Excellent understanding of web 2.0 (deep familiarity with emerging trends within leading online verticals such as networks, portals, social media, ecommerce, blogs, etc)
* Strong project management, operational and coordination skills
* Proactive and goal-oriented; good at juggling multiple priorities and time management (Well-organised, ability to multi task and prioritise key projects)
* Good all-round marketing skills and understanding and experience of a broad range of marketing tools
* Ability to function as a self-starter with an emphasis on getting things done
Essential
* Knowledge of Web 2.0 and everything that belongs to it
* A driver not being driven
