Job Description:
This role will be part of the Security and Fraud – Cashier division of the company and will responsible for mitigating risk relating to the companies cashier activities and payment services. The role holder will possess a skill for recognising very subtle patterns of fraudulent activity and communicating them to other team members and management.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• Responsible for investigating and resolving queries relating to companies payment solution products and services.
• Assess risk of cashier related transactions and prevent financial loss as a result of fraudulent behaviour.
• Prevent fraudulently acquired funds from leaving the system.
• Daily reporting on fraudulent behavior relating to payment solution activity.
• Proactive risk assessment using various reports and tools of financial transactions through the system.
• Maintain procedure and process that drive the identification of high risk transactions.
• Actively contribute to identifying initiatives, system improvements, and process improvements.
Skills / Experience Required:
• 1 Years experience in either an online payments or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Background in investigations and dealing with online payments fraud.
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Tools particularly MS Excel.
• A self starter, with initiative and ability to take responsibility for personal workload
• Common Sense and Trustworthiness.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work independently on assigned projects, but also to provide key input into dynamic team setting.
• Fluency in the English language.
• A passion and an interest in poker would be advantage.
