C# Software Engineer (Game System Interface) – Dublin, Ireland

Overall Purpose of Role:

We are seeking an outstanding software engineer to work on the best game application in the online poker industry. As part of our Server development team you will be focused on delivering a set of core APIs and tools that form the very foundations of our system. You will have strong C# experience and have a preference to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of new and existing core APIs to exceedingly high standards
You will be responsible for regular communications with other key parties involved in feature delivery i.e. Business, Customer, Other Dev Teams, QA etc.
You will participate in sizing and planning activities within the team
You will participate in code reviews and other peer based development activities
You will maintain a focus on delivering business priorities at all times

Skills / Experience Required:

+2 years of Software Development Experience using C#
Strong knowledge of the .NET Framework
+5 years development in an Object Oriented Language
BSc in computer science, MSc preferred, (or relevant work experience)
Self-motivated and results oriented
Microsoft Visual Studio (development environment)
Strong Oral, Written and Communication skills
Fluency in the English language is required
The following, while not essential, are highly desirable

Experience developing enterprise-class software (7×24, availability, serviceability)
Object Oriented Design Experience
Code Generation and Parsers
Exposure to Design Patterns
Web Services, .NET WCF in particular
Good working knowledge of ANSI C/C++
TCP/IP, WinSock or Client/Server programming
Test Driven Development
