Marketing Manager – Online Poker – UK

Job Purpose

Our client is looking for a marketing manager to join their UK & Irish Team. Reporting to the Regional Manager and working alongside two other marketing managers this role will have a particular focus on attracting on offline marketing and PR.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the live events to team to successfully brand and promote a new poker tours.
• Be responsible for leveraging and promoting partnerships. This includes but not limited to:
• Planning and production of related advertising materials
• Planning and implementation of all activation around the sponsorship
• Management of any external sports marketing agencies
• Managing relationship with member clubs and any other associated clubs.
• Work with the PR agency to help set goals and objectives, manage the PR projects to ensure maximum exposure and ROI is achieved.
• Work closely with the rest of the UK team to ensure that all advertising campaigns are closely integrated across all marketing channels.
• Identify other 3rd party opportunities which will allow our client to further cement its No.1 market position in the UK.

Skills and Capabilities – Essential

• 3-4 years relevant experience, with an emphasis on PR and offline marketing
• An interest in Poker is preferable
• Well organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize key projects
• Must be a skilful negotiator
• Must be able to source relevant offline deals
• Strong analytical skills with an understanding of the key metrics of offline and PR.
• The candidate must be a creative thinker who is able to think of effective promotions, and creative solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required and the ability to forge lasting and effective working relationships with third party agencies and media owners
• Must speak English.

Desirable

• Online Poker or Online Gaming experience strongly preferred, but not necessarily required.
