Our client is an established gaming operator looking to recruit an experienced SEO Manager. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is one of the most essential marketing tools in our competitive online industry. Our business requires adequate SEO approach and expertise in order to improve our Search Engine performance and ensure increase in both organic and marketing campaign driven traffic. As a result higher traffic volumes will enable revenue increase and better optimize our future advertising costs.
In line with the above requirements SEO Manager’s main focus will be on:
Improving our search results on all major search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, and similar
Increasing volumes of organic (free) search engine driven traffic
Assisting product and country managers to produce search engine optimised content and ensure and capitalise on the success of marketing campaigns
Helping our business better understand SEO strategies and application of those Monitoring website performance and make necessary improvements accordingly
Key Responsibilities:
Identify best SEO practices and offer adequate solutions to website production team, product managers and marketing department in general
Work with marketing department and product managers to create successful Search Engine marketing strategies
Analyse SEO performance on global and individual product levels, produce detailed reports and coordinate improvements
Assist product and country marketing managers with their campaigns, offer guidance and advice on SEO requirements
Generate readable SEO reports and create SEO roadmaps
Actively monitor search rankings and work on improving SEO strategies, coordinating improvements with website production team and developers
Setup and coordinate link building solutions
Source and work with external SEO agencies
Skills Required:
3+ Years of SEO/SEM experience working in a competitive online industry
Clear understanding of online marketing concepts and their relationship with SEO
Experience and ability to research and actively follow global SEO trends including those applicable to our online industry in particular
Ability to use web analytics solutions such as Google Analytics, Omniture and similar
Working knowledge of SEO ranking principles and traffic analysis solutions
Quantitative skills including the ability to generate reports including understanding of return on investment
Ability to produce readable SEO reports targeted at relevant audience, product managers and other departments
Understanding of Social Media networks and their relationship with marketing requirements including experience in social networking, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc
Basic Internet and HTML and JavaScript, skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
University degree in Marketing, Business or Computer Science
Computer Skills:
Working experience of SEO performance analysis and reporting tools
Strong experience of using web analytics solutions
Past working background with Content Management Systems (CMS)
