Social Media Pro Co-Ordinator – Poker – Ireland
Overall Purpose of Job Role:
This person will be the main internal point of contact for our client’s signed poker professionals acting as the connection to the pros online web presence. They will generate basic social media content, assist pros with requests related to our client’s web properties, pro sites, blogs, and other social media sites. One of the goals of this position is to enable our client’s players and the media to more easily connect with and follow their Pros. A large part of this role will include communication and small project management. This person needs to be able to understand requests and deliver results which meet expectations. This is a key contributing role which is part of the Search Engine Marketing Team. They will directly report to the head of the SEM Team.
Responsibilities:
• Communication with the team of professional poker players
• Create and manage content for web and social media channels
• Assist with some training
• Monitor content and brand reputation
• Keep current with latest trends
• Manage small projects
• Some community management and engagement
• Manage and update Twitter accounts, Facebook pages, Blogs, Forums, Pro Bios, etc.
• Produce basic reports
• Work with other members of the Search Marketing team to leverage content
• Implement targeted tournaments and promotions
Skills/ Experience Required:
• Good communication skills
• Active and passionate user of main social media channels
• Excellent written skills
• Ability to manage small projects
• Good with follow-up
• Ability to keep tabs on many things at once
• Detail oriented
• Curious and creative
• Basic or html design skills a plus
• Blogging background helpful
• Poker knowledge a plus
• Incorporation of multiple resources
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team
• Web savvy
