Head of Promotions – UK or Europe
Our client, a well established online operator with offices across Europe, is looking to recruit a Head of Promotions. This is a key role within the organization and the selected candidate will possess strong online gaming experience in a relative promotions field preferably within a poker and /or casino environment.
Reporting to the Customer Marketing Services Director, the primary function of this role is to take overall responsibility for online Poker, Casino and Games promotions. Focusing on Poker, Casino and Games products the Head of Promotions will centrally drive the creation and execution of promotions targeting both existing and new customers in order to nurture the value of the player base.
Responsibilities include;
- Manage the creativity, planning and execution of promotion based acquisition, retention and reactivation campaigns.
- Management of all promotions campaigns from inception to delivery media houses, affiliates, customers.
- The point of liaison with internal product managers on campaign briefs for global and localised initiatives.
- The point of liaison with country managers on campaign briefs for local initiatives
- The point of liaison with production team on delivery of materials for global and local campaigns
- The main ‘product’ interface with CRM, providing information on Local/Global campaigns that empowers CRM to deliver specific results.
Key Duties:
- Develop promotions including core creative components.
- Monitor and evaluate the campaigns and determine success against agreed targets, to include weekly and monthly and quarterly KPI reporting.
- To have in depth understanding of the nature of successful promotions in various European markets.
- To be able to analyze the customer database and develop segmented promotions.
- To be able to recognize any potential for fraud and contribute to prevention activities.
- To monitor competitive activity and keep completely up to date on market developments.
- Ensure all promotions reflect the key strengths of each brand / product.
- Liaise closely with affiliate team in order to ensure that promotional offerings are within partner expectations and are competitive.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Expert promotional manager with experience in a fast paced online business
- Experience of poker marketing and promotions essential.
- Experience of casino and games marketing and promotions desirable.
- Results oriented individual with focus on delivery and quality.
- Minimum of 5 years online and offline promotional experience with at least three years managing a team with substantial budgetary responsibility.
- Strong analytical capability.
- Strategic thinking and strong creative problem solving.
- Experience within gaming sector is essential.
