Marketing Manager, UK & Ireland – Poker

Job Purpose
Our client is looking for a marketing manager for their UK & Irish Team to focus on attracting new players through offline marketing and PR.
Key Responsibilities
• Creating marketing plans and managing the annual budget.
• Managing agencies and working with third parties and central teams to develop strategies to deliver against KPI’s
• Supporting the Regional Director when negotiating new and optimizing existing offline marketing campaigns.
• Support the Regional Director when implementing offline marketing projects. Working with the UK & Irish team, and other in house teams and media agencies to produce effective, brand enhancing marketing campaigns which achieve target ROI.
• Analysis of marketing campaigns
• Working closely with any Media agencies to ensure clear reporting.
• Working with Advertising and Design teams to localise offline creative for the market.
• Review competitor activity and keep a close eye on activity in UK & Ireland.
• Co-ordinate activities and promotions with other parts of the organisation including the creative, affiliate, PR & retention teams.

Skills and Capabilities – Essential
• 3-4 years relevant experience, with an emphasis on offline especially TV planning and buying
• Ability to manage campaigns from beginning to end including forecasting and performance analysis
• An interest in Poker is preferable
• Well organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize key projects
• Must be a skilful negotiator
• Must be able to source relevant offline deals
• Strong analytical skills with an understanding of the key metrics of offline and understanding of online
• The candidate must be a creative thinker who is able to think of effective promotions, and creative solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required and the ability to forge lasting and effective working relationships with third party agencies and media owners
• Must speak English.
Desirable
• Online Poker or Online Gaming experience strongly preferred, but not necessarily required.
• Understanding of TV either from planning and buying from agency side or client side
