Overall Purpose of Role:
The candidate’s focus will be to manage overall TV productions of one of the leading online poker sites. The successful candidate will initially work in tandem with the International Marketing Manager. The candidate will require tremendous attention to detail and multitasking abilities, managing third party suppliers, television events, and various sponsored/tournament events. In addition, this candidate will be heavily involved in working with Country Managers and other Marketing departments (online and offline). Great broadcast and TV production skills are essential, as well as an understanding of the international media landscape. We are embarking on ambitious growth plans and it is imperative the candidate is able to work within a dynamic, fast paced and leading-edge technological environment where consistent delivery of results is paramount to business success.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• Managing and coordinating overall TV productions working with third party suppliers
• Ensuring good implementation of concepts from pre production to airing in order to ensure productions are delivered with the highest standards and in line with our client’s brand
• Pitching third party suppliers for new and existing productions.
• Controlling and optimizing budgets including resources and post production analysis.
• Coordinating overall delivery of the projects working with various departments to support and ensure efficient and effective internal communication
• Implementing processes and procedures to maximise efficiency, increase quality and improve return on investment
• Control and optimise budget for international adaption and controlling budgets
• Developing new concepts
Skills / Experience Required – a combination of the following:
• Experience in the management of television production, working in tandem with various international production companies and broadcasters
• Strong event management experience
• Microsoft Word & Excel skills
• Experience in dealing with multiple cultures and languages
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Ability to create and manage procedures and processes, while working with various departments and companies in various time zones.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Attention to detail, especially in an online environment
• Fluency in the English language and additional language a plus
• Multiple project management skills
• The ability to travel is essential
• Knowledge of poker is desirable
