Responsibilities include:
Press Office Management
-Define trade PR strategy and tactics to achieve new press coverage to support any online events and promotions.
- Adapt global strategy to work across all markets and develop new strategies
-Collaborate with the Poker Room Management and CRM teams to develop news stories
-Collaborate with Affiliate Marketing and SEO – to co-create strategies
-Liaise with Country Management to execute PR plans
-Collaborate across the organization to leverage expertise and help from other departments to fulfil managed
PR’ strategies
-Work alongside another PR Manager to execute all trade media programs
-Assess unsolicited proposals from PR agencies, production companies, and media owners
-Conduct negotiations with relevant third parties to gain additional brand exposure and acquisition through sponsorships, cooperation’s, etc.
-Develop and foster professional relationships with press for additional opportunities
-Establish KPIs and report on campaign success
- Based on given PR KPIs, monitor agencies, report on PR metrics, and report on overall market PR achievements
-Brand inductions to all new agencies
-Day to day management and communication with global PR agencies – including monthly calls in each market
-Press release writing and distribution management
-Oversee management and direction and delivering content/images and updates
-Establish PR agency KPIs and report on campaign success
-Based on given PR KPIs, monitor agencies, report on PR metrics, and report on overall market PR achievements
Events-Live
-Direct and develop PR events strategy working with Country Managers and regional teams to evolve PR initiatives for live events
-Supporting the Events PR manager in executing our client’s Events PR strategy
-Manage local PR teams to execute events and monitor success
-Collaborate with Global Events Team to assist with any Global Events that take place in markets
-Define events PR strategy and tactics to achieve new press coverage to support live events and promotions.
-Adapt global strategy to work across all markets and develop new strategies
-Liaise with Country Management peers to identify successful strategies in their markets that could work for other markets
-Work with PR agency to develop ideas for event and mainstream PR strategies for the markets, ensuring appropriate placement and value as well as proper execution
-Assess unsolicited proposals from PR agencies, production companies, and media owners
-Develop and foster professional relationships with press for additional opportunities
-Collaborate across the organization to leverage expertise/opportunities and contacts from other departments to fulfil PR’ strategies
Events-Online
- Support alongside PR manager to define trade PR strategy and tactics to achieve new press coverage to -support any online events and promotions.
-Pitch ideas to key trade media contacts to support live events and to help achieve overall PR strategy
-Collaborate with the Poker Room Management and CRM teams
-Collaborate with Affiliate Marketing and SEO – to co-create strategies
Job Requirements
-5+ years of PR experience
-Strong network with poker media and journalists
-Strong network within the poker industry
-Strongly prefer passionate poker players that are active in the poker community
-Flexibility to travel
