Poker Room Manager – Argentina
Job Purpose
To oversee and manage the Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) and game offerings for our client in Latin America, taking ownership of all activities, budgets and results. To work alongside the Poker Room Management and Customer Relationship Marketing teams in dealing with high-profile escalations from other departments and other general management tasks. To strengthen the company’s presence in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for all CRM activities in Latin America
- Plan, design, execute and analyze all conversion, retention and VIP operations in the region, working closely with the country managers and regional director
- Optimize and monitor conversion and retention program
- Monitor and maintain the Latin American game offerings from week-to-week, including deployment of tournaments
- Work with the Latin American marketing team on promotions and other marketing efforts
- Proactively create, innovate and implement ongoing and ad hoc promotions in the region
- Recommend and consult regarding website content in both Spanish and Portuguese, including creation of new pages and suggesting regular updates to existing content
- Ensure acquisition campaigns are followed by CRM activities to maximize potential of acquired players.
- Ensure consistency within player communication
- Provide ongoing analysis of region’s player base; report and act according to findings
- Share responsibility for CRM costs in the region and ensure constant reporting on ROIs
- Ensure flow of information between the region and global CRM regarding activities performed locally and globally
- Interact with Latin American players through email, internet forums, and social media
- Assist with queries and escalations from Latin American players
Skills and Capabilities
Essential
- Fluent in Spanish and English (reading, writing and speaking)
- Strong background in Customer Relationship Management
- Good knowledge of the poker industry worldwide
- Extensive knowledge of poker rules, procedures, and best practice
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly analytical, quantitative, data-based problem solving and optimization skills, especially segmentation
- Strong Information Technology skills, including good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel)
- Willingness to work long and/or unusual hours when necessary
- Proven ability to take ownership of all aspects of a project from conception to completion
Desirable
- Portuguese language skills • Knowledge of Latin American Poker Industry
- Experience in a management role within the online gaming industry
- Experience in web development (particularly HTML and basic scripting languages)
